Dr. Hongwei Zhu works as a Professor of School of Materials Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University. He obtained his doctorate degree in Materials Processing Engineering in the year 2003 from Tsinghua University. He conducted his Post Doc studies in Japan and USA and then began his career as a faculty member at Tsinghua University in 2008. He has worked there ever since. His research interests include multi-scale synthesis and assembly, characterizations, and applications of materials. In his prolific career so far, he has authored 2 books and has written as many as 6 invited book chapters. He has as many as 16 CN patents to his name along with 1 US patent. He has also published more than 200 papers with an H-index of over 50.
